It would seem you have a bad battery that is not charged if it won't boot with battery only.
Try another charger ONLY if from the same model laptop.

I don't know anyone with the same laptop as me...
If it tells me "77%", how can the battery be completely uncharged?

The "77% charged" only appears when plugged to the charger, is this correct? My hunch, and it's just a hunch, is that figure comes from the adapter and not the battery, since it also says "not charging".

Batteries can die at any time and having them plugged to the adapter all the time, or a lot, can make it go bad faster.

I can't run on battery without the power block.
I agree Gary and thanks for the emphasis on the power block (charger).

My battery was good (I could boot only on it, it was lasting 2h+, etc) until 2 days ago, when suddenly, if I unplug the laptop, it closes, and it won't boot only on the battery anymore.

Ok, thanks. I want to take a step back for a moment.

The battery could in fact be bad and it is unfortunate that it manifested now. Two hours is fairly short for a charge to last, so the battery might have been degrading before - it just showed up at this point.

Yhe malware logs you sent me and posted showed a few difficult to remove items. What I suggested and you decided was best was to do a Samsung recovery install - restore to Factory condition.

We're good up to this point, but.... In post# 52 I recommended the Diskpart Clean command prior to reinstalling and reiterated that in post #54.

Was Diskpart clean done or was it not understood (it happens... Clean install & Diskpart clean command).

I'm asking because if it was NOT done, then there might stilll be malware on your system.

If it was done, then therre was nowhere for any malware to hide and the probablity of a bad battery increases.

Oh no, I thought it was part of the "if no", and I followed the "if yes". But I don't think the virus is there anymore, because I can right click properties, I can run games and apps I wasn't able before, etc...
It is probably a bad battery, because I just tried this:
I started my computer, and when I was a the "samsung logo" screen (before windows starts), I unplug it, and it shuts down...

You're right I wasn't clear on the YES /NO steps - at least not until post 54

Viruses can exhibit different behaviors, and different viruses affect various operations.

You might want to run through these for ease of mind.

I'll try these scans once I'll find a solution for this problem: http://www.sevenforums.com/general-d...ml#post2647244 which is more urgent for now.
