Windows 7, Constant Freezing and sudden black screen

This has been an issue that's eluded me for sometime. I'm not sure what caused it to start, but this is something that bothers me. It would be up to 1-2 hours before my computer will start freezing. Once this happens, it seems me processor skyrockets up to 70-80% and then freezing every 1-2 minutes before black screening.

This error was found in Application of Event Viewer:

Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

I'm not sure if this error is directly related to my issue, but I was posting as much information for you guys to work with.

That didn't help with my problem. Did you read my post or only the error code?

Hi there .. I did know you had other problems .. This could be due to many things like Overheating memory GPU Drivers etc ... I would start with the Overheating part .. Read the Link below and follow the steps ...

    Hi Magamisi,

    Welcome to Seven forums.

Please let me know if the system is overheating after the usage. Also, check if the fans are properly working.

Kindly clean startup the system to check if any background process are causing this issue:

    Clean Boot

Keep us posted with the results so we can advise you further.
