Games folder not showing correctly in Start Menu...
Hello!
I have a weird problem with the folder called "Games" under programs in the start menu. It is NOT the Games Explorer link I'm having problems with.
The Games folder consists of the following folders:
%appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games (Roaming)
%programdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games
It would seem that the Roaming-folder has a localized name (desktop.ini) - in my case "Spil" and that the Programdata folder does not and is called Games.
The weird thing is that the folder in the start menu has always been called "Spil" and not as it is now "Games".
It's an annoying thing and I don't get it - why has this changed? Is there a way to make this folder appear localized again?
Furthermore, I have some games in both folders which have lost their paths to either the Game Explorer or the actual position on the harddrive - I'm thinking I may have a problem with permissions or the registry?
Maybe someone knows of a way to reset this or where to look in the registry or a way to reset permissions on these folders.
Thank you in advance!
