Same thing...SFC /SCANNOW can not fix it.
What's weird is that I do not have any System Restore points..

It`ll be fine, I had the same issue, sfc wouldn`t go passed 9%
But no way I`m not having my system perfect.

It's working fine, but I can't back up a new System Image even if I tried. I always get an error now...
And I have no Restore Points anymore...

Well then, if this disk image you made is good, that`s sounds like the 1st option to attempt.

Hello RunOrDie,
Please follow step one to four of the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the logs requested.
You where able to run SFC /SCANNOW? If so, please upload the log;
- Open an elevated command prompt.
- Type (or copy) the following, this will create a .txt file on your desktop;
findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt" - In your next reply, please attach this file using the method displayed in this tutorial.
