    Advanced Boot Options

Advanced Boot Options has been coming up on its own everytime I have started my computer up. It first started doing this when I was running Vista 32bit then 64bit and has followed me onto Windows 7 64bit. How do I go about disabling it? Thanks in advance.

Hello Mike, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Double check to see if your F8 key may be stuck pressed down or broken. You might also test rebooting your computer with another keyboard to see if it may be your current one or not as well.

    Hope this helps for now,
    Shawn

Well thats just too bad. Was using a logitech g15 keyboard. But that was definately what was wrong.

Plugged in the old keyboard and booted up without issue.

Tried seeing if it was drivers or something like that but after a few attempts seems the key must just be broken as you said.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I wish all problems were this easy to solve

Youl have to remove the keys and give the keyboard a good clean.

    Mike,

I would suggest to clean the keyboard real good as Swarfega (aka: Nick) suggested. It may be that it's just dirty and sticky causing the key to stick. Hopefully that is all that's wrong with it.
