Restore stuck & Recycle Bin Corrupted...Help Please!!!
Ok here is what's happening.
I've been getting Java Runtime errors on Windows 7. So, I performed a "clean boot". When I restarted the laptop my Adobe programs could not start; I would receive messages that my serial has been expired. So, I decided to do a "restore my Windows" to a day prior to doing a clean boot and unfortunately this where everything went down the hill.
At first, the restore had an error and it couldn't complete but when I tried to restart the computer it would not show my desktop. Now, when I restart it passes the "Welcome" screen and it says "Preparing Your Desktop" but then nothing happens....it's just a blue screen with mouse arrow. Also, I get a pop-up that says "Recycle Bin on C Drive is Corrupted...do you want to delete?" I hit yes but upon restarting again, the message come up again.
When I look at the Task Manager - I don't see Explorer.exe - I see it briefly but than it disappears.
I do see the Explorer.exe when I start the laptop in a Safe Mode.
I have read on the forums that I need to delete a file that is causing the Corrupted Recycle Bin file, which is hidden on the C drive. However, when I try to access My Computer on Safe Mode, I get a message that says I don't have permission to access.
I also am not able to run Antivirus on Safe Mode.
Sorry if this makes no sense...any help is appreciated.
