How to use Task Scheduler to close a program?

Is there a way to use TS to close programs?

I want a way to schedule times for certain programs to close. I already know how to use TS to shutdown the computer.

Also, i'd prefer if no annoying messages popped up, like when I schedule a shutdown the computer pops up with "Your computer will shutdown in one minute". Is there a way to remove the warning?

The computer is Windows 7 Home Premium x64

Okay I tried it out and was unable to get it working.
Heres what I have so far:

    [TASKKILL /F /IM "iexplore.exe"

Is saved to a notepad file titled : "stop internet.bat"

I set the task to run and instead of closing the Internet it opens a command prompt for a split second then it disappears

Doesn't taskkill actually forcifully kill the running process instead of closing it normally (like sending an Alt+F4 command)? Or is the same? Because if it's not the same, killing a process like that might cause problems with some programs.
