    New monitor problems

    hello Forum.

I've just hooked up my new Samsung monitor, and I'm trying to have my screen use up all my screen estate,
but there seems to be a problem towards the right hand side of my monitor, it has a 30 pixel gap. I've set the resolution to 1920 x 1080 but that's not working for me. Even when I open up internet tabs there is a gap on the right had side. Is it an issue maybe with the graphic card drivers or?... I'm a but confused how to go on about.. Any help appreciated.

    Kind regards.

    Hello Graphomet,

You didn't give the model of your new Samsung monitor, so I was unable to look up the control button functions.

Here's what to do: Find the button on your monitor which opens the Main Menu, in the list locate Factory Reset. There may be two other separate buttons which control the +/- function, use these to select Factory Reset. Once there you'll need to figure out which other button will actually do the reset.

    Hope this helps,
    John
