    Booting Offers 2 Windows 7 Start-Ups


    I cloned my C drive, and removed that C drive using the new, cloned drive as the C drive. But when I boot-up, a black screen gives me 2 choices as to which windows 7 to boot with. how do I get rid of that? there is only 1 drive connected with windows 7 on it. the 1 choice is the correct 1. when I choose the other, it says windows 7 can't load.

    In the Start search, type msconfig and tap enter. In the boot tab, highlight the w7 entry that does work and click Make Default, see how that works.

I am on Windows 7 Pro Platform without Aero support. When I boot my desktop I do not get the animated Windows Logo as the first screen and instead get a rolling bar like I did in XP. Can something be done to get animated Windows Logo as the first screen while booting? TIA. ;)
Any time I boot Windows 7 Professional on my laptop it does not start the first time. I get only a blinking cursor on black screen. I need to switch it off and re-boot it then it starts perfectly. It does that all the times. :( Any suggestion? Thank you
Whenever I log onto my Hotmail account it automatically opens Windows Live Messenger and it starts whenever I start my computer. I have contantly used the SYSTEM CONFIGURATION tool to go to startup programs and uncheck Windows Live messenger so it doesn't start up with my computer. This Works but...
