Hmm I was so impressed by the Rocket Dock animation when i hover my mouse on the dock. In fact, rocket dock was my very 1st Dock experience..But after a few days,i started seeing weird issues on my dock like, some icons were disheartening. Some icons were changing and some other issues.May be it is not compatible with my Windows 7 Operating System i.e 64 bit..I have tried Rocket dock 2 or three times and i had no luck..So,now i use object Dock which works fine on my system. No,issues and is very much similar to Rocket dock...
These issues only occur when the shortcuts get mucked up. E.g. you change the location of an object but you do not change the shortcut. Then Rocket Dock cannot find it any more and gives you a dead link (e.g. a question mark). Same if you uninstall and reinstall a program.

You can also see exactly how much Startup time each program is taking by installing and running Soluto – Anti-Frustration Software.

However I still don't let anything start up with Windows except my AV, gadgets and sync. All others are freeloaders.

Win7's task bar is also a stationary dock with history stored on the rightclick menu of each icon. It doesn't bend and animate when you browse it because that doesn't serve a purpose.

I think i have found the culprit (I assume)....

I went through my system start up last night and i took in to consideration all of the kind suggestions that are gives to me my by people i.e @ Sir Georgeover, newblueboy, whs, gregrocker over here...
I unpinned all of my 13 or 14 icons from my task bar which i applied using a snall software called "Windows 7 Taskbar Items Pinner" ..I also disabled steam client from the start up list via msconfig...
Then after some restarts,i saw this program called "hoolapp" with a green icon.It always loads up after several minutes of startup and is probably the cause of the slow system start up..I couldn't find this "Hoolapp" in Control Panel ...Neither i am getting any uninstall file to delete this...Does anyone has any info reagaridng this "Hoolapp" ?

I do not believe ObjectDock loads at bootup.

It is launched when you log into an account that has been configured to start up ObjectDock.

When I log into such an account long after Windows has booted, ObjectDock comes up very quickly.

If Windows is taking a long time to boot, something else is causing it.

Hoolap installs Android apps to Windows. Do a search for it in Start Search box, All Programs list, Program folders and Control Panel>Programs and Features. There may be an uninstaller in its folder if it isn't in Control Panel.

Do you have everything unchecked except your AV, gadgets and sync in msconfig>Startup and >Services tabs (after Hiding All MS Services)? Reboot again to see.

There is no program needed to rightclick any Program to Pin to Taskbar. This reliance on 3rd party programs to do what Win7 already does splendidly is what has caused your problem.
