Computer slow...hardware...what are my options?

    EDIT: But you lied about not having an active antivirus. You do. It's Microsoft Security Essentials. You probably installed it along with other things in the suite or something.
    haha.. yes I lied indeed. Not intentionally and I knew that was Security Essentials was running. I just didn't consider or know it was considered an "antivirus" program. ://

    Well I was not implying you would lie intentionally, of course :) Just that is technically a lie, like you said. People happen to lie without being aware of it and I find it funny as well.

    Regarding the fact that Security Essentials is to be considered an antivirus or not, I'm not sure, so I'll just quote the official webpage tag line: "Use Microsoft Security Essentials to help guard against viruses, spyware, and other malicious software. It provides real-time protection".
