Are you using correct 32- or 64- bit version that is installed on the PC?

Does it have SP1 as does the installer?

Try entering System Recovery Options Command Line to run:

bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /fixmbr

Also from Command Line confirm that 100mb System Reserved (preferred if you have it) or C partition is Partition Marked Active then see if it will now run Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times

Then try rebooting to see if Win7 will start.

Next download, burn to CD with Windows Image Burner, boot into Partition Wizard bootable CD, post back a snapshot of full drive map and listings, confirm the active partition, then run Partition Wizard Rebuild MBR - Video Help.

If this fails to start Win7, try the 3 Startup Repairs again.

Yes, both 64 bit and SP1.
I've already tried bootrec/fixboot and bootrec/fixmbr.
I've already reinstalled Windows yesterday.
There's only a image (of the broken boot partition) left, that I made with testdisk, but I'm not going to try to fix that anymore.
