The partition table does not have a valid system partition

Hi all after fitting a sata card my computer wouldn't reboot?, i'm running a dual boot system with easy bcd with win 7 ultimate as default and win 8.1

so i put in my win 7 installation disk and boot from that first time round i see win 7 in the box to select but didn't because a new window opened told me i had problems with start up would i like to fix and restart, so i did but now i only boot into win 8.1 and wont even boot from cd even tho i choose this in bios.

so i unplugged win 8.1

now i back to booting from cd but start up recovery does nothing, i cant recover from a system update, i've even done the " diskpart lis vol act exi " thing with no results

i can still see my win 7 raid volume and it says its healthy but i cant boot into it i assume win 8 has over written the MBR any ideas cheers

men't system image above not system update, but pressing F8 and trying to boot from win 7 i get the message bootmgr is missing press ctrl+alt+del to restart

so gunna try plugging win 8 back in try F8

not sure what GPT is will have look up, saved all i could ( before next bit) and am going to have to re-install because i was following something and reinstalled win 7 grr ..... look for new post about that lol cheers

Do you have these HD's in a RAID array, or is this a generic SATA RAID setting?

Before attempting repairs we need to know what type of RAID, whether either is installed in UEFI mode to a GPT disk, or are both on MBR disks. Did you install either OS with the other plugged in so that the boot files were placed on the extant OS;s boot partition, or were these each independently bootable and you configured the Dual Boot only using EasyBCD? Can you boot either HD alone via the BIOS now?

Most of these questions can be answered if we can see the drive map and listings. You can boot free Partition Wizard CD to take a camera snap and post it back, or just type out the listings from each partition with all connected.

To make non-Raided MBR HD's independently bootable again via the BIOS: plug in alone, confirm the System Reserved (preferred if you have it) or C is Partition Marked Active then run Win7 Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times or Windows 8 Automatic Repair from the 8 disk.
