Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Freezes. No BSOD.
Hi! (English is not my native language, I'm trying my best here)
I've had this computer for around 3 years. It's not in my plans getting a new one any time soon.
The thing is this: In December 2013 my PC started to freeze out of nowhere, no BSOD; nothing. Before that everything went just fine. Yesterday I formatted it, hoping to fix the problem. No, nothing.
The freeze happens when the system is idle (no action at all, I just iniciate Windows and leave it there) and when I stress it a little (HD YouTube videos and stuff like that).
I don't know if any of you've already had this problem. I'd really like to fix it, because it's extremely annoying and I need this PC in order to work/study/play.
BTW, these are my specs:
- CPU: AMD Athlon II x3 (3.05 GHz) -> 4th Core unlocked
- Graphics Card: XFX nVidia GT240 DDR5 512MB
- Memory: 1x2GB Corsair + 1x2GB Kingston
- HDD: Western Digital 500GB 5400rpm
Thanks!
