Manually create a restore point and then edit the registry as desired.

If you do not feel comfortable editing the registry manually, I might be able to create a reg file that you can merge to undo what the other reg file added. However, I'm on a computer that cannot open RAR files. So, I would need you to right click on the reg file that you used to add the info to your registry and send that file to a Compressed (zipped) folder. Then upload that zipped file to your next post.
Here you go,

Chuck,

If you like, I'm fixing to post a new tutorial for this that will ask "Are you sure?" when you click on "Delete Folder Contents" in a folder's context menu to make this safer and easier.

I'll post back with a link to it when it's finished later.

You can fix the delete commands while you are at it :-)
They did not delete hidden/system files during my testing :-(

The OP would probably be better off to have a stash of these source folders and a batch file that pushes them into the destination folder when executed.

No problem. It'll delete everything in the folder as long as the user has access rights to the folder.

Oh - I should have specified:
I was talking about the reg file that the OP liked to.
It failed to delete all files.
I've not tested the one from your tut.

Tut not finished yet. I'm still playing with it.

Do you think it's best to have it only delete all files in a specific folder, and not delete any subfolders and files in the subfolders?

EDIT:
I'll have two options.

1) Delete Files in Folder = Deletes only the files in a folder, and will not delete any subfolders or files in subfolders.

2) Empty Folder = Deletes and recreates the folder leaving the folder completely empty.

Guess I'm not too smart. Cannot figure out how to continue. I will wait until tomorrow because I have to go out now. I have no choice. I am not too good with this computer stuff. I am 71 years old . I try,but not too good. I really need detailed instructions. I really appreciate your time and effort. Sorry I cannot do you justice. I will try to sort this out tomorrow. I am really confused now. Probably because I am overwhelmed by all this technical stuff. Really..thanks for your patience. I hope I can figure this out tomorrow. I really appreciate your help. Thanks Chuck

No worries Chuck.

To remove the context menu from the site you posted about, you could do this below.
  • Download .reg file below created by UserNameIssues above to your desktop.
  • Double click on .reg file to merge it.
  • If prompted, click on Run, Yes, Yes, and OK to approve the merge.
