Mime-Attachment File How to remove from Desktop

I have a file Mime-Attachment on my Desktop for some time.. Cant seem to remove it. File is empty and when I try to delete the file it tells me it is no longer located in C:\users\Bill\Desktop. The File is not manila as all other files are, it looks like a white sheet of paper same size as a file and it when you try to delete it drag it says it is a file that shows as follows.
    Mime-Attachment.
    Type: File
    Size 0 Bytes
    Date Modified: **/**/****

Nothing I have tried so far will let me get rid of this thing. Recycle Bin, Nothing! If I try to open it the recommendations is to use Thunderbird which is my mail program but it will not open the file. Nothing will open it probably because it is open.

    Welcome to the Seven Forums.

Create another admin user account (if need be).
Restart the computer (to free up your current account).
Log onto the new account and try to delete the file from that account,

If that fails, use a tool like this:
How to record Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 to an USB device and boot my computer from it?
It will let you navigate to the file that you cannot delete and you can scan for infections just for fun
