Hangs on boot-up
Mercy! Always something...
This is not the computer with the specs attached to me on the forum. It is a simple little computer that I have been using (quite successfully for over a year and a half). It is a Gigabyte GA-E350-USB 3 AMD E-350 APU (1.6Ghz. Dual-Core) AMD Hudson-M1 FCH Mini ITX Motherboard/CPU Combo. Runs on Windows 7 Ultimate. It is as an entertainment computer used with my HDTV.
When I try to start it, it hangs on the boot screen. The only control I seem to have over it is the <Delete> to enter the BIOS [Prepare to enter setup] but it only displays the screen and goes no further; hangs there. About six months ago, I cloned an SSD from the HDD that was originally in it and that is what it has been running on since. My first thought was that the SSD had a problem and I switched the HDD it was cloned from with the SSD. Still behaves the same. I will attach the two screen pics (poor quality-for whatever they may be worth).
Is this what happens when the CPU and/or motherboard craps out- or am I missing something
Thanks!
