Is there some way of changing the opening of photos, etc. from details to large Icons????

Where do you set it at??? I want all my files to open as large icons NOT details...

click the down arrow on the third icon from the right, and select Large Icons - see attachment

Folder Template
You might also want to set a Folder Template (e.g. Pictures):
- In "Details" view, choose all of the columns that you might want to use for your "Sort by" or "Group by" options.
- Set the "View" to "Large Icons"
- Set the Folder Template (see tutorial below).
