Drive Problem after reformatting from windows 8.1 to 7

I was using Windows 8.1 Enterprise before then I decided to go back to Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit just for a change. So I did. But after that, my Drive D: became inaccessible and what I did to fix and to access it again was the permission. And it worked but after that the Drive D: became somewhat weird. I will attach a screenshot on what I am talking about.

While I was still in Windows 8.1 there is no "File folder" in there. So I wonder if this is normal in Windows 7 because I haven't used it in a long time.

    8 to 7
    Drive D: inaccessible
    Change D: permissions
    Filder folder thing

Hello Devlin, and welcome to Seven Forums.

It seems like you are talking about the folder view settings.

Your top screenshot is in a library. You could click on View -> Group by -> (None) to no longer see the files in the folder grouped by folders like that.
Your bottom screenshot is just a folder in details view.
    Hope this helps, :)
