How do I quickly cancel the printing that is started?
What is the quickest way to get to the print queue to cancel the printing. Can a print queue icon be placed somewhere easily available.

You can cancel it but it will probably continue to print. Once the printer has started, it prints from it's own cache.

Right click on the printer icon now in the lower right hand corner and then left click on print job and cancel or just cancel if there's only one print job in Que.

The only way I've ever found to immediately or quickly stop printing is to press and hold my printer's power switch or actually unplug it. Stupid, I know, but canceling via Printer Properties as others mention above never works for me.

If it's still loading into the printer cache then it will but as mentioned if the job is all in the printer buffer then it's a printer power off issue or let'r rip and discard !

Quality high-end printers often have a print-cancel button. Press that and it will stop printing immediately, eject the current page, and stop.
Cheap printers seldom have a print-cancel button. So it's time to power off. (Sux.)
