I don't understand. You say you deleted them and then you say they are saved to a system drive.

Are these files saved on a separate drive or partition?
If these files were deleted in the normal they were probable put in the $Recycle bin and a recovery tool might be able to get them. After 4 or 5 months of using a computer their is a good chance they have been over written.
Trying the tool Phone Man recommended is a good tool to use. It can't hurt and you might get lucky.

@Layback Bear ... I didn't say they are, they "were" saved in the system directory ... this is to explain that the file was in a directory which was & is constantly being used and thus its very likely that the files were/are overwritten already ... so I need a serious data recovery solution ... I know that there are data recovery personals for these purposes but I'm trying do this on my own .. with help from you guys if possible ..

And can you please provide the "Phone Man's" download url, thanks!

    Recover deleted files

    Hi,

    You can install and run:

Lazesoft Recovery Suite Free, Free Windows System Recovery, Free Data Recovery, Free Windows Password Recovery, Free Disk Clone

You don't need to burn it to USB - you can just install it and run it. I ususlly use this software instead of Recuva.

Use the recover deleted data option to scan for files and the file type/file path selectors to refine results.

If you want to use Recuva as suggested:

Recuva - Undelete, Unerase, File and Disk Recovery - Free Download

If using Recuva you need to restore recovered files to another drive other than the one they're located on.

My experience with Recuva is that even if you can recover them, they are so badly corrupted that you cannot use them. And I would think that video files are particularly touchy. Sorry if I am the man who brings the bad news.

But you can always try. One never knows.

    File recovery

It would appear that those files cannot be recovered intact. The only other possibilities that I can think of is to recover the files from within an old system restore point. The problem is that by default system restore points are deleted after 90 days unless you have increased the interval - so it seems likely that this approach is useless.

Or you might have made a system image backup. If you did you can mount it and browse it to recover your files.

Other than that Recuva was your best chance and if it can't recover the files there's little point spending money on other recovery software.

I did not mention restore points because it is unlikely that there are any that reach this far back. But in case you have restore points from that time, have a look here:
