    Desktop.ini file - ViewState and Vid items

    When I add a MS folder icon to any folder -- the INI file looks like this
    Code:
    [.ShellClassInfo]
    IconResource=C:\windows\system32\SHELL32.dll,131
    [ViewState]
    Mode=
    Vid=
    FolderType=Pictures
    ... what are "Mode" and "Vid" used for ?

    Thank you Ztruker for your response, :)

    With guidance from "Bongo" I recently learnt how to customize a folder icon on an external HD
    I cannot help myself -- I like to know.
