How to have computer prompt for admin password on other user

For example, a game I play, Maplestory (don't judge), would always ask me for the administrator password when I open it which allows me to enter in the password and start the game. Now, it doesn't do that anymore and I have no idea how that happened. I have all my gaming and work and other stuff on this user, which is separate from the admin one. Since all of my things are on this user, I wouldn't want to have to switch to the admin user every time I try to play a game.

Long story short, is there a setting that makes your computer automatically prompt you for the administrator's password when required on another user?

I would recommend always notify. This allows a standard user full freedom with the option of changing anything with the admin password.
