White text on black background as computer boots up

I have noticed that on some computers during the first part of the boot process you get a certain amount of information displayed as white scrolling text on a black background. This is prior to the Windows 7 flag animation. On some computers however this text does not appear.

Is there an option somewhere that turns this information on/off?

Thank you

Yes there is normally an option in the system Bios, normally marked as "fast Boot" or similar, often with an option to display "boot logo" switching the boot logo and fast boot off should display the start-up data,

please be aware that setting these options to off will result in the boot cycle taking longer to complete as the data takes time to display.

Check your user manual or watch the start of the boot process to find the method used to enter the BIOS screens, often an F key or del needs to be pressed to enter bios.

Thank you. The Fast Boot option in the BIOS is set to ON but the text still appears during boot.

Look for an option to display the boot logo, this when set to on should hide the text

I'm afraid there is no Boot Logo option in the BIOS.
