Windows 7 - 64bit build 6801 - no longer loads

Hello again.


If you have 7 set as the default OS at machine boot you can boot into safe mode and roll back the driver, also Windows 7 has a new "repair" option in safe mode if you have the install disk.

It's worth a try; at least maybe you can get your files back.

Hi, that's the problem though, it won't boot into anything. Even "Safe Mode" gives me a black screen. When I use the install disc it says that the installed version is not compatible with the disc, yet I know for certain the one I installed is from this disc.

Xp Pro SP3 x64, Win7 x86 (Ult 7600), Win7 x64 Ult 7600, TechNet RTM on AMD x64 (2.8Ghz)
 
 


I upgraded build 6956 to Beta 7000 (32 bit Versions) & it keep all my settings, etc.
