Computer name in Windows 7: start menu; right click "computer"; choose "properties".

You can also see a lot of info with the "dxdiag" command from a command prompt. The "model" may just be the motherboard brand and model.

Many computers don't have a "serial number". The operating system may have a Product Key, but that applies to the operating system only, not the computer.

If it was built by a company such as Dell or HP, you may find some type of serial number or unique identifier with dxdiag.
