Looking For Some Help and Advice on Moving Away From Windows XP

I'm glad to be apart of this forum because I'm in need of some help and suggestions. Also, I do apologize if this isn't the most proper place to post this topic

I currently have Windows XP and I really, really enjoy Windows XP. Unfortunately we all know in a week Microsoft will no longer support XP so I'm in a bind. I like Windows XP because in the My Pictures folder, when you click on a pic or multiple pics, it gives you the option in the File and Folder Task box, it gives you the option of move this file. In the other Microsoft OS, ( i.e.; Windows 7 and Windows 8 ), I haven't seen this option. I'm a old - school wrestling fan, a belt mark and I have between 15,000 and 20,000 pics of championship belt pic's from many different pro wrestling promotions throughout the years

Anyways, it's so, so much easier on me when I have the ability to click on move this file, it saves me a tremendous amount of time organizing all of my belt pics. My question is, is the " move this file " option available in either Windows 7 or Windows 8, heck is in Windows Vista?

I have some other questions I will post later but I would appreciate any help

Hello Chris and Welcome to Seven Forums!

Here is a tutorial by Brink for adding "Move To Folder" to the context menu:
Context Menu - Add Copy To Folder and Move To Folder

    Hope this helps,
    David
