I just tried ordering Pro. Total was 149.99 with a $20 MIR. Removed from cart. I sure wish I knew what MSFT was really going to do with TechNet licenses. I know what they say, I just don't always believe them.

Yes, there is a big mail in rebate. I steer clear of those. I have about a 50% return rate on actually receiving the money.

Steve did you choose the first one in the list? Microsoft Windows 7 Professional FQC-04649 Operating System Software - 64bit, DVD at TigerDirect.com

I get $134.99 total which is Tiger's normal Pro price. Then the $20 rebate is applied for separately via the link on Product page.

I always get my rebates, making sure to fill it out correctly and calling their support if in doubt about anything.

Well, that's the way it starts out, but after taxes and shipping it comes out to 149.xx. It's hard to buy from Tiger when you live in Florida. And I rarely get a rebate paid. And I can follow instructions pretty well.

Sorry Steve, I didn't even notice the shipping and tax. Harshes the deal.
