Show all hidden files and folders

I am preparing a script file to ...
() Show hidden files, folders and drives
[ ] Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)
I can successfully toggle ... "Show hidden files, folders and drives"

But I cannot find registry key and values for "Hide protected operating system files"

Thank you

Hello Russell,

If you like, the tutorial below can add a hide/show all hidden files/folders/drives to your desktop context menu for easy use. If nothing else, you can take a look at it's .vbs file to help with yours.

Show - Hide Hidden Files - Add to Context Menu

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Thank you UsernameIssues and Brink

Here I am re-inventing the wheel ... again
I have only had enough time to read the tutorial so far.
The context menu idea is brilliant.

This is THE best forum

I will get back here when I have it sorted, (a day or two)

Thanks again
