    No info balloon on hover Home Premium SP1


    In Windows 7 Home Premium some of my files don't show info balloons. The three I've noticed are Macrium Reflect images, PDFs and PowerPoint files; but Word files and most others do. Anyone have an explanation for this? I have ownership of the three file types mentioned and have full control in security permissions. Thanks.

    I tried a Macrium image on Windows 8. I didn't get an infotip either. I did on pdf though. You could try checking your pdf program for Explorer integration. I'm using PDFXChange Edit free version.

    I don't have any powerpoint files.

In Vista it shows the file size on mouse hover but not so in Windows 7 Home Premium, at least not for me. It shows it for folders but not files. Is there a tweak that will make it work work for files too? Thanks.
Hi All Ive just started to get double text balloons on the site when I hover over a thread. This is in IE9 using the 7 dark theme. 208396 And Chrome now shows the larger dark pop up and not the smaller white one which it used to. 208397
I have the student download of windows 7 home premium and after downloading and starting installation, it isnt compatible to upgrade from vista home premium. So do I have to burn some sort of dvd for installation, or can i just install from the download i was told to save on my desktop and let it...
