How to hide the WinExplorer top bar with "Organize, Include in library

How to hide the WinExplorer top bar with "Organize, Include in library Share with..." ?

I hardly use the bar at the top of WinExplorer which starts with the entries

Organize, Include in library Share with...

How can I hide this toolbar completely?

    Hi, Peter,

Trust me, once you get used to it you'll realize how important it is.

It's not a static bar, either. It changes depending on the folder chosen and, even, the file chosen, to indicate actions that are available.

However, a short answer, even if you could, I wouldn't recommend it. :)

The dynamics of the bar will grow on you...promise.

Unable to Hide Menu Bar in Windows Explorer
there is a way to get rid of libraries, but it is a bit tougher with 64 bit, you have to do it while explorer is not running. if you need a link i can try to find it again, or upload it.

    I agree totally with Miked.

You will live to regret the day you messed around with that default Explorer display.

very defeatist attitude. I have yet to use this (the command bar OR the solution), and am tempted to remove the library component entirely.. if you follow instructions, backup prior to making changes, what's wrong with gaining 10pixels?

To FIX this UI restriction, I'm gonna try this

What I won't start using, I'll never depend on

Miked: just because it's there doesn't mean I'll ever use it, but I agree with karlsnooks that messing with it as was suggested will probably only lead to grief.

Shame on Microsoft for giving me no option to reclaim that little bit more of vertical screen real-estate, and trying to force me to use the mouse more often. Near-exclusive use of the keyboard has saved me from a multitude of RSIs across a 30 year career and I don't plan on changing now.

    cheers...ank
