the my documents would not succumb to the command. a command window opened & kept running. other folders under user would blink very quickly & fade.

Since you moved your Documents folder to K, then is that where you are trying to save to and not to C?

brink saving to k:\ my documents worked. what do I do with 10 gigabytes of files In my documents on c:\??

I just finished coping & pasting my documents from c:\ to k:\. k:\ my documents properties has no location tab or restore defaught button. Is this right ??

Does C: have a locations tab?

What does your permissions show for Documents at C:?

Permissions - Allow or Deny Users and Groups

yes c:\ has a location tab. By permissions you mean like security ?? that highlights In blue.

Correct. Like below. You would want to check to make sure that your account has "Full control" checked for "this folder, subfolders and files".

Saving Passwords
I just reinstalled Win7. Since then Windows is not saving any of my passwords. For Instance I have to put my iTunes password in every time it opens. Also none of my passwords in any of my browsers are being saved. Any suggestions?

I have 3 hard disks. 1 SSD and 2 regular hard disks. 1 of the three, whenever I try to save something there, it tells me that I do not have permission to save there. I am using an administrator level account, but not THE Administrator account... I'm the only person that uses this box.
