Found a folder C:\Windows\ehome with a ton of stuff in it. Reading on the net say it could be empty, have several mentioned programs, but mine has a bunch.

I had some corrupted files on Windows Media Center and Windows Media player. I turned off these services and then ran CC Cleaner which deleted the eHome registry (required for WMC). When I rebooted and turned these services back on, WMP works great but I lost WMC. I tried a restoration...
I got a virus on my pc, and the windows foulder became a hidden system foulder

Hi, I have read tons of forum posts but I still can't figure out the issue I have.
I have a win7 media center PC with an (external) eHome receiver.
If "allow this device to wake the computer from sleep" is disabled on the eHome device my sleep (S3) works perfectly - however I can't use the remote...

The receiver is plugged in and the device manager has it listed in the "Unspecified" category labeled as "Microsoft IR Transceiver"
