How To Turn Instantview Off Acer Travelmate

Hi,Can anyone tell me how to turn this program off,its on an Acer Travelmate 8481 Notebook,Win7 Pro.
From what I have read so far it has to be disabled in the bios once its been activated on the keyboard,it has its own button up by the power on switch,i have had the bios up,but not done anything yet,had a look on google, but so far not seen any details of what,or where I need to go to in the bios,so any help would be very welcome.

    Cheers Goldman

Hi there ... Like you i could not find any way to turn Instantview off .. How ever it can be Uninstalled by using Revo Uninstaller .. Must be a setting some where in the BIOS to disable it ... I have read through some of the Acer Manuals to no avail ...

Nothing shows up in msconfig Startup or Services tabs?

I did find this: Tom O'Neill

@Jaegg I figured it out! Took a while, though. Press F12 when powering on. Press Enter and Windows will boot. Log on as an admin. Goto C:\Program Files (x86)\InstantView\tools . Start aoiomgr.exe. follow the steps in the wizard but don't import anything. A new windows pops up. Clear the box with Turn on InstantView (E). Click apply and ok and you're done.

Hello Ztruker,Thanks for the info, you know am beginning to wonder if an acer was such a good idea,my chepo Toshiba NB500,is really good, got a new better capacity battery for it,will give at least 8hours or even more and no probs, the acer cost a lot,so far pain in the butt.
Anyway,i will give the above a go & see if it solves it.

    Thanks Goldman
