That is in your Windows Performance Settings. You right click 'My Computer', I am sorry 'Computer' (since everyone has at least Windows 7 by now but you didn't specify), click properties, and click 'Advanced Tab' ad 'Performance Settings'. Tick the 'Show window content while dragging' check-mark box.
I think this is what you want.
Follow these steps:
- In Control Panel, click System.
- On the left sidebar, click Advanced system settings.
- In Performance section, click Settings.
- In the box, check Show window contents while dragging, and click OK.

Pllease post back and let us know how it goes or if you have any questions.
As a test put a dot next to Let Windows choose what's best for my computer > Apply > Ok
Close all explorer windows then try again.
Try Adjust for best performance > Ok
This will unselect all settings.
Then Custom - This will allow you to select and unselect the settings you would like to.
Check one at a time till you get the look you want.
