The RAM errors need to be resolved and may be your problem. What is wrong with the fitting?

Did you Clean the disk and are now doing a full format? It can take awhile.

The memtest errors have nothing to do with the way they are ordered, it only has to do with the bad ram or bad ram slots. I realize this is a real PITA, as I've been there, But, you need to run memtest on each stick, one at a time in each slot. That will tell whether you have bad ram or whether your motherboard has bad Dimm Slots.

The ordering is wrong, but it is only wrong in how they run, it will not cause errors. It will most likely make you running in single channel mode rather than dual channel mode, which is better performance. What is an issue is, as Hammerhead said, having 2 types of ram installed. Ram comes in Kits where all sticks are tested to work together. Individual sticks, even from the same manufacturer and same model made at different times can often not work together properly.

Roger do you understand all the information that has been posted about your ram and ram test?
You seem to be ignoring that information.

I dont get a crash minidump message but the main crash code i do get is
stop oxoooooo7e(oxffffffffoooooo5,oxfffff8ooo3a35ba,oxfffff88ooo9a8368,oxfffff88ooo9a7bco

STOP 0x0000007E: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Usual causes:
Insufficient disk space, Device driver, Video card, BIOS, Breakpoint with no debugger attached, Hardware incompatibility, Faulty system service, Memory, 3rd party remote control

Alongwith many other probable causes, memory failure is also a cause of SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (0x7e). So better you perform this test at first, as everybody is suggesting to concentrate on it.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Ok Essenbe,Greg,Layback Bear, and anyone else who has helped me it was my ram that was the problem all along i have used windows memory tester before and it never showed up a problem,i took out 2 sticks restarted the pc and absolutely no communication with the monito so i inserted the other 2 sticks it fired up but windows would not load so i took out the stick that i left in the first time and windows loaded for the first time in about 18 months so that ram that caused all this problem is in about 3 pieces i would like to apologise to Greg as i think his patience was running thin with me all i hope is that this mobo doesnt decide to now break down considering its age thankyou all very very much

Yeah I assumed the RAM had been tested adequately early on when you assured it had. But Bad Pool Header and those crash codes are often RAM related so we should have confirmed the test earlier.

Have you determined with certainty the bad stick to replace and have no crashes now?

Yes sir the 2 remaining are ok as i can boot up straight to windows i feel such a fool as ive been using a pc since 1994 so i should have known this but i blame my age how much longer do you think this mobo will last as im not in a position financially to buy another one yet
Edit do i have to mark this as solved now ?

Roger, I hope your problem is solved, I would strongly suggest you run memtest86+ for 8 full passes again to make sure the ram you are using is fault free. Just because your computer will load Windows now, does not mean the ram is good. Only a test with memtest86+ will tell you that. Also, in the future, If you decide on more ram, I would suggest buying a complete kit, which has been tested to work together. But, again, I hope your problem is solved and I would run the memtest before marking the thread solved. Let us hear from you. Good luck.
