Are you trying to save an audio or video file? You say it only happens with 3 programs, do you actually mean 3 programs or do you mean files? Are you using any 3rd party software for saving files?

Restore the "save or open" dialog window
Hi! I "told" Maxthon (i.e. Internet Explorer) to open f4v files with VLC. However, I'd like to have back the dialog window that asks if I want to open or save such files. How do I do that? :o Thanks, diodorus
