Right click menu constant - not caused by mouse/trackpad

Having a bit of a nightmare with my laptop!

Suddenly the right click dialogue box keeps popping up as if I am doing it. Have deduced that it's not the mouse as
    1. When trackpad is disabled and no mouse connected the problem still occurs
    2. The dialogue box always appears in the top left hand corner of the desktop or window open, regardless of where the cursor is.

Me and my partner ran some of the windows 7 fix it things and also ran virus scans etc and after a lot of random fixes it stopped for about a week. However it's started up again and we have no clue what we did first time round to get it to stop or why it's started again so thought we should try and find out the root cause.

No luck with the good old google search as most solutions allude to a stuck trackpad button which it's not! It's intermittent in the fact it may stop for 2 minutes but then starts again in force making it pretty impossible to do anything on there. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated :)

Have you done a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 on the laptop yet to get rid of the Acer bloatware and duplicate utilties that interfere with better versions built into Win7?

If so then work through the Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 to check over your install.
