Somebody help me here 'cus I'm getting annoyed!

Right in my Music files I like my folders to be the following.

1. I go into the Music folder and see the following;

Then I go into a Folder (e.g. Elvis) and see the following which is fine because they are albums.

Then, when I choose and individual album, I get the following:

But, the file result I want is the following;

But, everytime I set it to file view, all the other folders end up going as file view too, and it is really frustrating me somewhat. Anyone know how to make it stay the way I want it?

Right click in an empty space and go into view and set it to large icons.

If I do that ALL folders and contents get changed as large icons and I don't want that.

I want

Artists - large icons (pic1) --> Albums - large icons (pic2) --> songs - list (pic4)

Does it happen when you do it in another folder besides that say program folder or documents folder.

It might help to have windows 7 in your specs instead of just Vista as this might lead to some confusion in people trying to help out. And it looks like you don't have aero enabled? Any reason why not?

Yeah, sorry never realised it was just Vista showing. Fixed now

The Aero is not enabled 'cus my graphics aren't good enough. Although this doesn't bother me anyways.

I just checked my music folder and what you are saying is correct, but that only happens when you view the files through the library and if you go to your music folder instead you can set up multiple view options, as a solution you could always create a shortcut and pin it to the taskbar.
