Login history?

Greetings,

I am running an HP 8200/windows 7 professional and am in dire need of accessing my login history (date time etc.).
Can this be done?
I have contacted my server and they cannot assist because 'auditing was not turned on.'

What to do?

Thank you.

Access Windows® Event Viewer;
1. Press Flag Key+ R and type “eventvwr.msc” and click OK or press Enter.
2. Expand Windows Logs, and select Security.
3. In the middle you’ll see a list, with Date and Time,Source, Event ID
and Task Category. The Task Category pretty much explains the event,
Logon, Special Logon, Logoff and other details.

Thank you so much!1

If you would be so kind as to inform me of the difference between 'logon' and 'special logon' I would greatly appreciate it.

Are you referring to Event ID 4672;
This event gets logged whenever an account assigned any 'administrator equivalent' user rights logs on. For instance you will see event 4672 in close proximity to logon events (4624) for administrators since administrators have most of these admin-equivalent rights.

Is there a simple way to look up the login history of a specific user?
I need to find a way to look up and create a log of the login history of a specific user to find all machines he has logged into that are in our domain. Is there a simple way to do this, such as some DOS commands or batch file? Thanks.

Password login history
Hi everyone, as of late I've had someone attempting to log into my computer by trying to figure out my password. They're no hacker, but just typing in random things related to me, my likes, etc. I was wondering more out of curiosity if there is a way to see what they've been typing in the password...
