Brink is it fine to have Documents at 2 places i.e in Favorites and in Libraries, or is it advisable to remove from Favorites?

Thanks.

Are you able to directly open the unresponsive folders that you are trying to include in the library?

Do you have indexing enabled?

Index - Enable or Disable

The items listed under Favorites are just shortcuts, so it doesn't matter. Favorites is good to for folders that you open often to make it easier to do so as needed.

Favorites - Links - Add or Remove in Navigation Pane

Are you able to directly open the unresponsive folders that you are trying to include in the library? Yes.

Indexing is disabled/unchecked.

Enable indexing, make sure those folder locations are added to the index, rebuild the index, and after the index has finished rebuilding see if those folders still show as unresponsive when including in a library.

My other lap's libraries are fine, running W7, indexing disabled?

I probably dragged the mouse on the Dell?

Brink got it solved. I restored the last created full image.

I have a question if in Services, Windows Search is disabled I get the same results when clicked on locations as Unresponsive, but when enabled it's fine.

My lap's HDD in My computer > rt click > Properties indexing is unchecked, should that box be checked too along with Windows Search or it doesn't matter.

Thanks.

That's great news.

If you would like files on the C: drive to be indexed, then you would check it. The default setting is checked.
