    how to solve "this document may be truncated or incomplete"


    hi i'm a photographer and most my photos when i'm trying to edit it in Photoshop
    i got this message "this document may be truncated or incomplete"


    this is photo i found in internet but it's looks like most my photos

    example :


    i searched google for this problem but i didn't found any solution

    i have 20 gb photos like that what should i do

    this is full sized picture that i take 2 years ago
    and if u zoom in at the end of the picture on the right u will find strange purple and pink line in the end of the photo

    that is my problem the photo was fine now the picture looks strange with that purple line

    i don't know what cause this issue

    I get something similar on very rare occasion when picture gets corrupted on memory card. Now assuming your pictures are on some type of memory card, I would try to copy them to hard drive and try different programs to open it, if all fails, then I would look into recovery programs and see if they can recover data from broken card. If that's not your case, then I have no idea, but in general either the picture data is corrupted or the program you're using to open the picture is not fully compatible with format of the picture, especially RAW is camera specific and you need to install proper codec for it to work.

    Definitely some kind of file corruption. Looks like a great opportunity to Photoshop it :)
