How to create Fn key in external Key Board

Iam using USB 2.0 Keyboard for my laptop.

Each time for function key,i'm forced to use laptop keyboard for function key(Fn).

Is there any way to make any key in external keyboard as Fn key??

I believe most Fn keys are driver dependent. The Fn key on an external keyboard can generally not perform the calls of the laptop keyboard because the Fn keys are hardware specific; they are not regular keyboard keys and can't be remapped.

I'm 100% sure I've seen procedure to replace FN key on external keyboard for Dell laptop, I think it's part of Dell provided software, so before I waste my time looking for it, what laptop do you have, as this would be manufacturer specific.
