Been looking through this forum for some help on password a folder and 7zip comes up quite a lot,Is this highly recommended?,Or would there be something else about.
I did see on some forums that true crypt has been having some issues.
    Many Thanks.

7-Zip is quite a good program and it's free. It allegedly uses a better encryption algorithm than either WinRAR and WinZip. It also has the feature of encrypting files name in the archive as well.

Here's what happens if you make a 7z files without encrypting files names and you double click it. The contents if the archive are shown but to open it a password is needed for each file.

When file names are encrypted and the 7z files is double clicked all that is shown is the prompt for a password.
