    user account permissions

    Hi guys.

I removed my friends laptop hard drive and plugged it in via usb into my laptop. When i was browsing the folders on the hard drive windows told me i didnt have the correct permissions and did i want to access the drive. I clicked yes removed the files my friend needed and then deleted the permission for my laptop to access his folders.

Now my question is have a ****ed up his hard drive when its plugged back into his laptop? Will it say it needs access to my account for him to re open his files, and also will my laptop account name show up under his user permissions area?

Sorry if this sounds dumb but could really use some valuble knowledge.

    Thanks guys

No it will be ok as noorudddin says mate as long as you safely dismounted that drive before removing the stick. Even if you didn't probably still ok.
