Can't get access to image files, even with permission.

Hi!

After I install the Windows 7 in my partition c, I wasn't able to open folders that were in my partition d. I managed to change the owner and permissions, and then I get access to them.

However, I have a folder with image files that I can't access (the images). I can open the folder, but I can't open the image file because it says that I don't have permission. However, if I copy to file to my desktop, I'm able to open the image.

How can I fix the problem?

Thanks!
