    Apple Computer, Inc. Services

I have a SAMSUNG Laptop which is AMD A6 4400M with Windows 7 Home Premium OS. I recently was reviewing the Services thru msconfig and found this below entry enabled, I did disable it immediately and not sure what this Service is related to, I dont even recall installing any Apple Computer related product or Software. Any inputs on the below.

    That's what Google is for :) Id_String1.6844F930_1628_4223_B5CC_5BB94B879762

Looks harmless but useless from what I read. Leave it disabled.

It is installed when you install Apple Software, ie: ITunes. Some windows software will also install it for making stuff Apple Compatible.

If you installed iTunes or QuickTime (possible a player brought QuickTime along for the ride), then you have
    Apple software on your machine.

It looks as though ##Id_String1.6844F930_1628_4223_B5CC_5BB94B879762## Apple Computer, Inc. is associated with the Bonjour service (network zero config).

Bonjour adds nothing to a Windows PC, even when iTunes or QuickTime is installed.

See if Bonjour is installed and uninstall it.

Some of these Apple things can be installed when you install a printer program. I know for sure when I installed Kokak printers I got some Apple garbage and removed it.

The printer company don't know what system you are going to use so they put both Microsoft and Apple in their program.

If you have iTunes don't uninstall Bonjour. I made that mistake once when I didn't know what it was.
