Yes I set desktop display to 1680x1050.. I played with some of the settings on my monitor directly and lowered the severity of the issue but it is still there a little bit. The sharpness on my monitor only goes by 4 so I cannot get it to the exact setting I probably need to use. But I do need to mess with ClearType some more to get it perfect.

There has to be a way to fine tune the sharpness of the image. I either have too blurry or too sharp since my monitor goes from 0-100 using multiples of 4 for the sharpness settings.

This will help you

Right click on your Desktop and click on Properties. Click on Settings>Advanced. Under the General Tab see if DPI is set to Normal size.

or

right click on My Computer > Properties > Advanced tab > click on settings under the performacne catagory and make sure "smooth edges of screen fonts" is selected.

Was already set to normal DPI. But I went to custom DPI and unchecked the "Use XP sclaing" option and it seems to have helped alot. Edit- Upon testing it still seems to have an issue. It seems I cannot win with the text and this monitor.
