    windows aero? =/

Whats up with windows aero or whatever(the thing that makes the task bar and windows transparent? A couple programs that I use makes it so that windows aero has to turn off before they could run properly, pretty annoying, but doesn't hurt much I guess... what I wanna know is why this is necessary though...

Basically the program is incompatible with Aero so it's temporarily disabled to ensure things run smoothly.

I'm playing assassin's creed now and that causes it do to that, when I alt+tab out of the game, the game goes from full screen to windowed and it causes some annoying problems.

Then theres a painting program I'm using also, it causes the borders around that problem to be messed up looking if I don't go properties>disable desktop something...

I already know the program is not compatible with aero...pretty obvious from the pop up message it gives you and the theme changing on you. I just dont get why the hell it has to do that. They gotta fix it so it doesn't cause any problems with anything...this is just retarded

It would seem to me that it's not Aero that needs fixing, but the incompatible programs. I'm not a developer, so I can't explain why there is an issue, but it is the Desktop Window Manager Session Manager to gets disabled in the services.msc.
