Suddenly asking to shut all programs down. What can be wrong ?

    Dear people,

I experience an odd problem with my PC.

    Tonight i started my PC.
    I opened some programs.
Then i worked for awhile in a program and suddenly, a message pops, asking me to close all open programs, with the intention to shutdown my PC.

So i did that, then started my PC up again, opened some programs and within a minute, the same message.

Now at the moment, it's quite hot in the room where my PC stands.
But i have a reasonable good and big CPU fan placed above the CPU and CPU is running at stock rate, no OC.
But could it be though, that the computer is overheating and therefore wants to shut down ?
Or is something else going on ?

    I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, SP1.

    Best,

    Rob.

Yes it can be a temp problem.
    Monitor your temps.
Inspect the inside of your computer to make sure all fans are clean and running.
I highly recommend installing a anti virus program.
A infection can also be causing many problems. One off the top of my head would be maxing out your cpu and causing over heating.

If you need help checking your system for infection please ask.

    OP specs.

    Antivirus Nope
    Browser Nightly

Sounds fishy to me, start running some virus scans. :)
